Thank you Mary for opening your home to all of us.

AND thank you to all the neighbors who did the
shopping, cooked the meats, made the salad and
desserts. The tables could not hold all of the food.

Is that rain I see coming?? No problem, our neighbors know how to stay dry!! Well at least partially dry.

And from the smiles in these two pictures, I believe it fair to say, everyone had a good time. Till next year!!

INDIAN LAKE'S SUMMER SOCIAL 2021

Family, neighbors and friends gathered at Mary's home for some fun on a beautiful summer afternoon.

The line for the Mexican buffet just never ended. AND, the wait was worth it. Thank you Lauren, Greg and Joe

The day included perfect weather
(except for those mosquitoes at dusk),
water sports, trampoline fun
and great music from our local band, Bogfoot.

SUMMER HAS ARRIVED AND WE ARE GOING TO HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS WE DARE!!

The beauty along our roads can be breathtaking. Stop and take it in.

Be sure to travel slowly down our roads. You just never know what's around the next bend.

July 4th gave us a chance to get creative. The Indian Lake Association Annual Meeting took place at the Sugar Camp Park pavilion. We were grateful for a perfect day and it was good to see some of our neighbors.

Gary enjoying a campfire. Our kids built this fire ring in the early 90's. It's not really symmetrical but has good memories.

.....HELLO FALL.. a time to reflect and slow down...

AND NOW WE COME TO THE FINAL SEASON OF 2020. For many of us this is our favorite.

Dan said the dog sled excursion filled him with happiness.

WINTER CHILI CONTEST 2020

Well thought out!! There was even transportation for the precious chili entrees. Thank you Dennis and Joe.

I want you all to know this was a very serious business. Not only did we have nine contestants but the orchestration of where to put all the chili pots and numerous condiments was truly a difficult, mind-boggling task!!
After all that juggling, came the eating (which was a lot of fun).
Then the voting (which was very, very difficult).

So folks, with all the hard work behind us, now we can socialize, meet new neighbors, and reacquaint with long time neighbors.

BUT DID I FORGET????.... We gathered to find the best chili on Indian Lake in Sugar Camp ....
JOHN WON THE CONTEST AND IS SEEN DISPLAYING HIS WINNINGS PROUDLY.

The weather was perfect, the sun shining and hardly any wind. What more can you want for a winter event.

Kasha was eyeing the chili but had to be satisfied with a kiss from Dana!!!

2018, August 4 .... Indian Lake's Annual Pontoon Party and Picnic

First came the pontoon party. The weather cooperated for the first half.

It wasn't long before Mother Nature showered us!! Greg spent most of his time grilling up succulent chicken. Thank you to our hostess family, volunteers and fabulous neighbors for all those great side dishes and desserts.

What do I see??

Baseball caps instead of Elmer Fudd hats.

Shorts instead of the warmest winter pants available?

Obviously not all the beer was used in the chili, Waste Not, Want Not..

If you look closely you might be able to figure out (at least some) how this homemade delectable chili is made! Thank you Greg.

This is also one way to meet your neighbors, learn a lot about people who might not live on our lake but enjoy fishing here.
